The Directgov service (part of Central Office of Information) is a key part of the Transformational Government programme that aims to deliver ‘public services all in one place’. Karpadium has worked with Directgov since 2004, building the user base and traffic of the service by identifying and delivering strategic partnerships with high traffic websites (including AOL, MSN, Yahoo), setting up and managing search engine campaigns and online display advertising campaigns across multiple websites. Other projects include the provision of in-depth analysis of site use when benchmarked against other Government online services; specifying technical requirements to build traffic (including search engine optimisation, syndication capabilities and site analysis tools); sharing best practice on online marketing techniques to other Government Departments.
